Different Seals Used in Hydraulic Cylinders

Understand the Two Categories of Hydraulic Cylinders

  1. Static Seal

This is the type of seal that is not categorized in any movement when fluid is being pressurized. Static includes different rings, namely:

  • O-rings
  • Back-up rings
  • D-rings
  • Gaskets
  • Cover seals.
